Apple today announced the 128GB iPad of its fourth-generation with Retina display to join the existing 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB versions of the popular tablet. The 128GB iPad will be available from February 5, in either black or white colours. It will be available in a Wi-Fi-only model and as a Wi-Fi + Cellular variant. The retail price is Rs 49,900 for the Wi-Fi-only model and around Rs 56,900 for the Wi-Fi and 3G variant.

Apple’s iPad has been available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB variants since launch, so the 128GB variant marks the first departure from the norm.
