Chinese device maker, Huawei, has launched a new 7-inch tablet, MediaPad 7 Vogue, that also offers voice calling functionality.

The Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue sports an aluminium unibody design, is 9.5mm thin and weighs 335 grams. It sports mid-range specifications.

Available in both Wi-Fi and 3G variants, the tablet is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor made by Huawei and has 1GB of RAM in addition to a 16-core GPU. It offers 8GB of internal storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The 3G version  offers a built-in receiver for direct calling capabilities and doesn’t require headphones.

The MediaPad 7 Vogue is a perfect example of Huawei’s dedication to making extraordinary experiences possible.

The MediaPad 7 Vogue sports a 3-megapixel rear camera capable of recording 1080p resolution videos at up to 30 frames per second and a front facing VGA camera for video calls and self clicks.

The tablet runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and comes pre-installed with email, word processing, Facebook, YouTube, and GPS navigation apps. The tablet features Huawei’s proprietary Emotion UI 1.5 on top of the OS.

The tablet will be available in China this month followed by other other markets in Black and White colour variants. Pricing and availability information for India is not available at this point in time.
