Sony Mobile today officially launched the Xperia Ion in India for Rs 36,999. The Ion will be Sony’s flagship Android smartphone for the time being with specs that outdo the Xperia S. Read on for complete specs.

It sports a massive 4.55-inch 1280×720 pixel display and runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. The Xperia Ion features 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage memory along with a microSD card slot. Other features include a 12.1-megapixel camera, a 1.3-megapixel front camera and most of the connectivity options one can expect including Wi-Fi, DLNA and NFC.
